Mission and Hypothesis

PEACE was germinated in 2005 as a plan to obviate homelessness, hunger, and poverty, while developing social, economic, and ecological sustainability. The concept is fashioned after Abraham Maslow’s famous “Hierarchy of Human Needs” model. When basic human needs are met, a society can rise to its full potential and peace then, becomes a side effect of loving.

P.E.A.C.E. is an experiment in the form of an ecologically designed city to test theories and concepts of technological, social, and economic advancements. One of these theories is that a strong regenerative economic system integrated with healthy communication practices will lead to a peaceful and prosperous society where each person can reach their full potential. Because we are an experiment, it may be possible to obtain governmental approval to test the viability of ZPE (zero point energy), alternative education, natural waste management, advanced mass transportation systems (no cars, roads, parking lots or traffic jams) as well as Permaculture design, and cooperative business practices.

Vision

Our vision for PEACE has been to create a model eco-city as a Regenerative Economic experiment. After carefully considering the enormity of our vision and the many challenges that lie ahead, we have shifted the focus to start with a PEACE city block in Tucson. We feel that Tucson has many of the problems that PEACE serves to address such as poverty, homelessness, hunger and crime. This decision will minimize some of the future challenges, such as reasonable applicability of the PEACE model into existing cities and gathering business people who are willing to start small green businesses within the regenerative economic framework. Social investors will see the working model and will then have the confidence that a larger project based on the same principles can be successfully created.

There are four steps or phases to implementing P.E.A.C.E. on a local, regional, and global level

•Phase I addresses the local connection in the form of a P.E.A.C.E. block, created in Tucson, Arizona. A P.E.A.C.E. block is a whole or partial city block comprised of green businesses, non-toxic housing, and organic gardens that operate within the new Regenerative Economics model.

•Phase II initiates expansion as the P.E.A.C.E block model is replicated in other cities across the nation.

•Phase III introduces the replicable P..E.A.C.E block model to the greater global family.

•Phase IV is the development of a full size Permaculture designed P.E.A.C.E. eco-city that will model advanced systems for mass transportation, alternative waste management, alternative energy, reusable materials, citizen wealth, optimal health, and responsible environmental stewardship. These advanced systems will have an enormous impact on reducing pollution and restoring the earth’s natural water sheds.

What if we could design a new economic system?

…A system that:

... Supports a healthy environment

...Ends:

~ homelessness
~ hunger
~ poverty
~ unemployment
~ lowers crime

…What if we could build a model eco-city to measure the results of this new economic system?

…What if this peaceful lifestyle could be in your children’s future?

Welcome to P.E.A.C.E.
